The Geekvape Aegis Hero 5 Pod Kit is the fifth-generation compact pod mod in the Aegis Hero line, pairing a built-in 2000mAh battery with up to 50W of output. That is a battery upgrade of more than 40 percent over the previous H45 (Aegis Hero 2), while the chassis stays pocket-sized at 45.5mm wide by 94.5mm tall. The kit ships with a 6.5mL top-fill Hero cartridge, giving all-day juice capacity for restricted direct-to-lung and mouth-to-lung styles alike. Geekvape rates a 30-minute charge as enough for typical use across a full week.
The Hero 5 cartridge uses Geekvape’s replaceable B Series coils, including the new B Boost versions that double rated coil life from 20mL to 40mL of e-liquid. Supported resistances span 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.2 ohm, and the box includes a pre-installed B0.4 Boost coil (25-35W) plus a spare B0.2 Boost coil (50-58W). Pods are cross-compatible with the H45 (Aegis Hero 2) and H45 Classic. The device auto-recognizes the coil and sets a suitable wattage, with manual adjustment up to 50W shown on a simplified 0.96-inch color display alongside resistance, puff count and battery level. The Aegis shockproof design is joined by a new A-Lock switch that physically prevents accidental firing.
Construction follows the familiar Aegis formula of a zinc-alloy frame with a textured leather grip panel, adjustable top airflow on the cartridge and a magnetic pod connection. Charging is via USB Type-C at 5V/2A. Available finishes include Blaze Red, Frost Mint, Iron Black, Lightning Yellow, Pure White, Quantum Cyan, Racing Blue, Racing Green, Red and White, Speed Red, Steel Silver, Turbo Blue and Vibe Green. Each kit includes the Aegis Hero 5 device, one 6.5mL Hero cartridge, the two B Boost coils, a USB Type-C cable and a user manual.
