The Innokin Ares 2 RTA is a specially designed RTA (Rebuildable Tank Atomiser) that will support mouth to lung vaping. Still designed for advanced vapers, it builds on the success of the original and arrives with a number of improvements. Improvements include a new airflow structure, newly designed chimney for improved flavour, and of course a classic 2ml e-liquid capacity. Featuring a standard 510 pin you can pair the Ares 2 with a range of vape devices. Featuring a ‘drop deck’ layout, a coil can be placed, secured and then trimmed while still leaving plenty of room for your cotton wick . This results in a faster set-up and a more precise coil placement. Compatible with single coils, it is recommended that you choose a smaller rebuildable coil due to both the size of the deck and the MTL properties of the RTA itself. With a precise atomiser such as this, airflow control is very important. You can configure it in two ways – for a more bespoke experience. Located on the deck underneath where your coil sits is a Cross Air Flow Control which can be opened and shut impacting both flavour and vapour production. For a more traditional vape, the bottom adjustable airflow can be used, this bottom air has been configured for a tighter draw in general. The unique selling point of an RTA like this is its e-liquid capacity. Unlike a standard RDA, the Ares 2 can be filled with up to 2ml of e-liquid, making it better for travelling with. Refilling is quick and clean thanks to the sliding top-fill mechanism, while a series of seals featuring throughout the tank stop leaking. Essentially, you’ll experience the flavour production of a rebuildable atomiser with the reliability of a classic vape tank. You should have the knowledge and access to the equipment that is required to set up this atomiser properly. Before building coils or using an RTA you should have a thorough knowledge of battery safety, Ohm’s Law and vaping in general. Before fitting a coil onto your rebuildable atomiser ensure it is in a safe condition and registering the correct Ohmage, this testing and checking can be achieved by using a dedicated Ohmmeter. Coils should not be tested on vape devices. Equipped with a stylish engraved design, the 2ml Area 2 MTL RTA can be paired with the vast majority of vape mods due to a 510 connection point. Providing precision control, the Ares 2 MTL RTA features a cross airflow control under the coil as well as the standard bottom adjustable airflow ring. Mimicking the functionality of a standard vape tank, the Ares 2 RTA can be refilled via the sliding top fill mechanism which also prevents any e-liquid leakage.
