The KangerTech eVod USB Charger is a compact, dependable charging accessory built for Kanger’s classic eVod, eVod VV, and eSmart battery lines. One end is a standard USB plug and the other is a threaded eGo/510-style connector, so charging is as simple as screwing the battery onto the charger and plugging it into any powered USB port, wall adapter, or computer.
Electrically, the charger accepts a DC 5V input and delivers a regulated DC 4.2V output at 400mA, matching the requirements of eGo-size stick batteries. A built-in LED reads out charge status: it glows red while charging is in progress and switches to green when the battery is fully charged. A typical eVod battery reaches a full charge in roughly 3 to 4 hours.
